  1. I’m not religious

If you are reading this today are don’t feel you are religious or that the things written are only for religious people, in other words, we tend to think there are religious people and there are those who aren’t. I like to illustrate it this way, does something become a car because it sits in a garage? Would I become a car if I lived in a garage? It sounds so crazy but thankfully the answer is no. A car is made because someone has taken metal and plastic and taken the time to make a car; it doesn’t happen by itself. Going to church doesn’t make someone a Christian, a person is not made “religious” or a Christian by going to church every week. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. You can’t make yourself better by being religious. Being in Christ is what the Bible says changes a person from the inside out. What does it mean to be “in Christ”? Please read here.

  1. I don’t want to be religious

Many think that going to church every week is boring a dull and that should be avoided.

Consider how many people do the same thing every week at a certain time. Are they not being religious in their attendance to sport, club commitments and social even drinking?

Yet the bible says

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Do you want faith? Do you want to increase in faith?
